Like I said, a European federation would give more power to the parliament, which the representative of the people, and it would take away the veto power from the member countries (today, one country has the veto over the union). It would also mean a chief of State or President, which would represent the European people in the law making process. A European federation would mean that decisions will be taken by a qualified majority, 55% of the total population, from  at least 66% of the member states.

But how would we get to the level of a European federation? There are many political parties that support a higher level of European Integration, such as Volt Europa, and Renew Europe, among others; and these groups will need your help to win  the 2024 European elections, the fate of Europe is at change. Based on the election results we could have real change, or we could go back to traditional politics, that are not that effective (such as  Social Democrats and EPP) or even worse, we could have the fare right coming to power in Europe like in the 19th and 20th century.

So the our responsibility as citizens is to vote for change, and to spread the message!
