Europe is a continent, everybody knows that, but Europe is also a culture and history, for some Europe is an identity for others Europe is home.

The Word Europe, has legendary origins. More then 3000 years, the legend says, that a young Phoenician princess, called Europa, was loved by Zeus, and he took her away from her home and brought her to the island of Crete in Greece. The island took the name of their new queen. Queen Europa had many children by the king of the Island, but the most important of her children was King Minos, son of Zeus. King Minos, is where we get the name Minoan, and this refers to the Minoan Civilization, which historian consider the first civilization in Europe, with a culture that in a way or another still exists today in the European culture.

I believe that Europe is not only a geographical place that you can find on the map, but it must be seen more as a culture and history, as a people with a bright future.
